The room at Hotel Stipino was absolutely cozy and comfortable. It had air conditioning, which was a lifesaver during the hot weather. The free WiFi and LCD TV were great additions too.
Personally, I found the centralized air conditioning a bit too chilly for my liking. However, I understand that others might appreciate the coolness.

Free parking but no lift, so I got my daily exercise climbing the stairs. Enjoyed renting a bike and exploring the area. The view from the garden was stunning, made up for the lack of elevator.
Just loved checking in with all the present children running around, really added to the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

The room at Hotel Stipino was really cozy and comfortable. I loved the air conditioning and free WiFi, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The private bathroom had everything I needed, like complimentary toiletries and a hair dryer, which was really convenient.
The centralized air conditioning in the room was a bit noisy for my liking. But hey, that's just my personal opinion, and others might not mind it at all.

I recently stayed at a nice hotel with a covered verandah and birds singing outside. The old fashioned decor added charm, and the value for money bike rental was a bonus. The receptionist was super helpful and patient, giving us directions and being understanding about our delay. The hotel's cleanliness was impressive, especially the bathroom and linen. The staff, especially the older gentleman at reception, was always helpful and smiling. The hotel's location was convenient, with a great pizza shop nearby and the city center within walking distance. The WIFI was also great, and there was a coffee shop and famous pastry shop just a minute away.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

The warm and friendly atmosphere at this hotel made our stay enjoyable. The owners were welcoming and helpful, which was appreciated as we were traveling as a group of friends. The hotel was exceptionally clean and one of the best we have stayed in for this price range. The breakfast provided was nice and there was even air conditioning in the room, which was a bonus.
Felt like being at home, no complaints.

Free parking, perfect for my nonexistent car. Bicycles for rent: great, I love exercise. No lift in the building: just what my lazy self needed. Complimentary Wi-Fi: who doesn't love slow internet? Supervised childcare: because I totally brought kids with me. Lovely garden: I admire nature from my window.
The absence of a personal butler was such a disappointment. How dare they not anticipate my every need?

The warm, friendly atmosphere. Welcoming and helpful owners. Pristine clean rooms. One of the best hotels for the price in Italy. Nice breakfast. Lovely, double room. Convenient location just outside the city walls with a large, free car park. Surrounded by cafes. Very good breakfast. Rustic charm and cleanliness. Friendly staff, especially the helpful man at the front desk. Perfect location, 5 minutes from the walled city. Quiet at night.
Nothing, all excellent.

I had a fantastic stay at Stipino in Lucca. the hotel had a warm and friendly atmosphere, and the owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful, which was especially appreciated as I was traveling alone. the cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, making it one of the best hotels I've stayed in Italy for this price range. the hotel's location just outside the city walls of Lucca was perfect, with a short five-minute walk to the east gate. the hotel also provided a large, free car park, which was a huge plus considering the difficulty of finding parking within Lucca's walls. While the hotel didn't serve breakfast, there were plenty of surrounding cafes to choose from, and the hotel did offer fresh coffee. I highly recommend Stipino for its friendly staff, convenient location, and excellent value for money. Cons: Nothing not to love! 😊.

The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and friendly. They provided us with useful information and directions, and made us feel very welcome. The location of the hotel was great, only a short walk away from the city center. Additionally, the cleanliness of the hotel, especially the bathroom and linen, was impressive.
The mattress in our room was very uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, the cleaning staff started very early in the morning, which was disruptive after a restless night.
